Michalis Falaras had a troubled relationship with Greece. Many were the reasons that pushed him away from Kamena Vourla in Phthiotis to seek a life abroad. He took on countless jobs throughout his life, and countless were the thoughts of a possible return. Though he tried his luck in America, Michalis eventually settled in Australia. As a worker, husband, and father, this Greek found everything his heart desired in the Fifth Continent… Yet the thought that constantly tormented him, the one that never let him rest, was what ultimately led him to pursue the longed-for return home.
