When he returned to Greece, he realised what he had “built” in Australia

Dimitris Koutsothanasis hails from Neapoli, Kozani, and grew up in a society ravaged by wars and poverty. When he migrated to Australia in 1960, eagerly awaiting the reunion with his beloved in the new land, he did not expect that he would find there what he had always dreamed of: an earthly paradise. There he worked in factories and workshops, in shops and hospitals. He prospered in Australia, but what makes him most proud of all, is that his children and grandchildren have managed to reach even greater heights than he did.
