Andreas Michail Koudellaris was born in Kampos Tsakistras in 1935. The son of a woodcutter, he learned from a young age what life in the Greek countryside truly meant. Still a child, he joined EOKA, was arrested by the British, and was eventually forced to migrate to Australia. But even in the fifth continent, nothing was handed to him. He worked hard, in factories and on building sites, day and night, without rest. With his own hands, he built houses, he built a family, and he built a new life.
