From an early age, John Daviskas from Tetrakomo, Arta, learned what “hard work” truly meant. From the unfinished construction sites of Athens to various workspaces on the newly built fifth continent, the expatriate quickly realised that the road to a place in the “emerald paradise” was an arduous one. He worked in factories supplying and exporting meat, as well as in companies producing perfumes, before eventually starting his own business! However, there was one secret he tried to protect with tooth and nail during his early years in the Antipodes… the fact that he had been an illegal immigrant.
