As a child, he was forced to hide from the Germans who occupied the village of Gavros in the Trikala region. As a policeman, Lambros Papadopoulos worked relentlessly, attending night school with hopes of securing a future in his homeland. Unfortunately, in Greece, Lambros only encountered injustice. The life he had envisioned was ultimately found in Australia, where he devoted himself to voluntary and philanthropic work for the Greek community of Sydney, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
