The years of occupation couldn’t extinguish his dream

From the fields of a German-occupied Greece to the wide avenues of a land rich in opportunities: the life of Giorgos Manolakis from Rhodes led him far from the homeland he loved, to a foreign yet welcoming land. The islander pursued his future in car companies and factories on the Fifth Continent, working tirelessly to bring to life the dream he had sown in Greece, which ultimately flourished in Australia.
